About Hobart

Hobart is the capital and most populous city of the island state of Tasmania, Australia. Founded in 1804 as a British penal colony, it is Australia's second-oldest capital city after Sydney.

Transportation

By Air

Hobart International Airport (HBA) is located approximately 17 km from the city center, with direct flights from major Australian cities including Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane.

From Hobart Airport

SkyBus and taxi services are available from the airport to the city center. The journey takes approximately 20–30 minutes.

Conference Facilities

The conference will be held at the University of Tasmania facilities, equipped with state-of-the-art lecture theatres and meeting rooms.

Accommodation

Weather

February is summer in Tasmania, with average temperatures ranging from 12°C to 22°C (54°F–72°F). Light layers and a rain jacket are recommended.
